On Saturday October 30th, The WRRV Boo Ball will be returning to the Mid-Hudson Civic Center. This year at The Boo Ball, which is the Hudson Valley’s best and biggest costume party, the winner of best costume will be awarded $1,000 and a total of $1,500* dollars in prizes will be given out throughout to night.

WRRV Program Director and morning show host Andrew Boris said, “We decided to create more categories and give away more cash for the costume contest this year because the amount of time and work the WRRV listeners put into their costumes last year was astonishing. We’re expecting some pretty amazing outfits this year!”

Tickets to the Boo Ball are on sale now at www.wrrv.com. Ticket’s cost $10 a piece, however this year WRRV is offering their listeners special bundle packages, which include 5 tickets for $45, 8 for $60 or 10 for $70. Tickets may also be won daily by tuning into WRRV. WRRV can be heard at 92.7 in the Middletown/Newburgh area and 96.9 in the Kingston/Poughkeepsie region.

The 2010 Boo Ball will be presented by The Pure Terror Scream Park located at the Castle Fun Center in Chester. Doors will open at 8 pm and the event will be run until 1 am. Nuts in a Blender, The Hudson Valley’s premier cover band, will be providing entrainment all night long and will begin playing at 9 pm.

To attend the Boo Ball, which is brought to you by WRRV, a Cumulus Broadcasting station, you must be 18 years are older and in costume.
