Artrider announces
a major new showcase
for the arts

October 4, 5, 6, 2013

The Hudson Valley Arts Festival at Rhinebeck will be a celebration of artistic expression in its many forms with a main focus on craft and visual art. Much more than a craft show, much more than an art show, it will be a celebration of the very concept of creativity, highlighting the exciting art and culture of the Hudson Valley and beyond.

In addition to America’s top artists and craftspeople, the festival will present a line-up of exceptional live music including Joey Eppard (lead vocalist and guitarist for the band 3), The Kings County Band with Jay Collins (Allman Brothers Band, Levon Helm, Donald Fagen), Left By The Wayside with Randy Ciarlante (The Band) and The Lindsey Webster Band (Scott Sharrard, Jimmy Sturr Orchestra). There will also be live art projects; children’s art activities; food & wine featuring the bounty of the Hudson Valley; docent guided tours by Stacey Jarit; workshops, craft demonstrations and more.

Artrider Productions of Woodstock, New York, is creating the Hudson Valley Arts Festival at Rhinebeck in collaboration with Dutchess County Tourism, the Dutchess County Arts Council, the Woodstock Film Festival, Hudson Valley Restaurant Week, The Valley Table and FiberFlame with the intention of making this event the center of an annual “Arts Weekend” for the pleasure of Hudson Valley residents and tourists.

The Hudson Valley Arts Festival at Rhinebeck will be held during the beautiful fall foliage season at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds on Route 9 in Rhinebeck, New York, on Route 9. Show hours are Friday, October 4 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturday, October 5 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Sunday, October 6 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $10.
