Enjoy a fall evening by the glow of a roaring fire! Boscobel is inviting everyone to gather around a traditional bonfire for some old-fashioned, “kindled” fun.

New this year will be Stargazing with Boscobel’s Museum Educator, Lisa Dimarzo. If it is a clear night, Lisa will point out amazing autumn sky features to Bonfire guests, such as Polaris, Cassiopeia, Pegasus and Cygnus while also sharing stories, secrets and lore of the Hudson Valley’s starry nights. As a StarLab educator, Lisa has been teaching people, young & old, about the nighttime sky for 10+ years.

Whether you’re looking for a spot to spark a romance, just hoping to get cozy with friends or seeking some quality time with the kids…visit Boscobel’s 4th Annual Family Bonfire Night for a roaring good time:

Boscobel’s Family Bonfire Night will take place on Sunday, October 13, 6-9pm – the next day is a school holiday. Rain date is Sunday, October 20. Limited seating around the bonfire will be provided; feel free to bring your own chairs. Admission is $12 for Adults, and Children 10 and under are FREE!  Friends of Boscobel members receive a 10% discount. Advance ticket purchase preferred: stop by or call during business hours or visit Boscobel.org 24/7.

Boscobel is located on scenic Route 9D in Garrison New York just one mile south of Cold Spring and directly across the river from West Point. From April through October, hours are 9:30am to 5pm (first tour at 10am; last at 4pm); November & December 9:30am to 4pm (last tour at 3pm).  Boscobel is open every day except Tuesdays, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
