Bring the kids ages 3-11 to the Harness Racing Museum and Hall of Fame, located at 240 Main Street, Goshen, NY on Saturday, April 9, 2011 from 10:30 am – 12:00 pm for a fun-filled morning of spring crafts, horse-themed games and a ride on the Harness Racing 3-D Simulator, all for $5.00 per child – and parents or chaperones are free! Reservations are strongly suggested by calling 845-294-6330.
Spring is in the air, flowers are blooming and horses are jumping for joy! Here at the Harness Racing Museum, we have an Egg-stra Special Standardbred, filled with jelly beans and chocolate treats. We’ll show participants how to create this festive craft using chenille sticks and an egg filled with sweet treats. Then, everyone will go on a merry hunt in our courtyard for Easter Eggs – and every egg is a winner! What a wonderful way to welcome spring! Afterwards, museum staff will lead participants through the museum to enjoy a mini-tour, play horse-themed games and ride the 3-D Harness Racing Simulator.
