That is when Re-Think Local Hudson Valley invites the public to witness the merging of Engineering, Art + Technology while exploring an ambitious new 3D printing initiative with Arts Mid-Hudson and SUNY New Paltz.

According to a recent CNN article, “The emerging process of 3-D printing, which uses computer-created digital models to create real-world objects, has produced everything from toys to jewelry to food. Soon, however, 3-D printers may be spitting out something far more complex, and controversial: human organs.”

Even the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park recently announced that it is investing in 3-D printing. They plan to “explore the intersection of 3D printed food and artisan culinary methods and educational programs.”
