Orange County Executive Edward A. Diana and Commissioner Richard L. Rose of the Department of Parks, Recreation and Conservation, in conjunction with the Orange County Department of Health are pleased to announce that the County will once again be hosting a Summer Family Film Fest Series at Thomas Bull Memorial Park, Route 416, Montgomery, on Friday, July 8, Saturday, July 23 and Friday, August 5.

PG-rated movies will be shown outdoors on a giant, inflatable screen. Admission is free. Gates will open at 7:00 p.m. and the movies will begin at dusk. A variety of games and inflatable attractions will be available to entertain children before the film. Refreshments provided by Bella Verde caterers will be available for purchase. People are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket. A listing of the movies is available at www.orangecountynyparks.com.

“The Film Fest is a great way for families to enjoy an evening out together and make their entertainment budget go a little farther this summer,” said County Executive Diana. “There are so many great programs available in the County this summer; I encourage residents to check out the Orange County Parks and Orange County Tourism websites for some great ideas.”

In keeping with the Healthy Orange campaign initiated by the Department of Health this will be a smoke-free event. In case of inclement weather, the rain date will be the following night for each separate show.
