The Arts Society of Kingston located at 97 Broadway in the Historic Rondout Waterfront District, presents a diverse range of visual art exhibitions, performances, workshops, classes, and other arts-related programming. November 2nd – The Ulster Performing Arts Center presents Godzilla.   American nuclear weapons testing results in the creation of a seemingly unstoppable, dinosaur-like beast in this Japanese made camp classic. November 3rdCrafts on John Street join the Kingston Farmers’ Market this week.  An all-natural line of hand-made vegetable-based skin care products such as soaps, message oils, bath salts, moisturizers and more are just some of the wares you’ll find from this talented group of local Hudson Valley artisans. And stock-up for winter this week at the Market. Not sure how? Ask a farmer. Almost 40 vendors make this Market one of the largest outside of NYC. November 24thSinterklaas Arrival Day: Join us on the Historic Rondout Waterfront for a day of open houses in all the shops, music, a workshop creating beautiful crowns and branches, a visit from Sinterklaas himself, a march down Broadway, a parade of stars, and puppets galore.  We will then see Sinterklaas and his white horse off on a tugboat across the river to his destination there. A Sinterklaas Soiree, Tree Lighting Ceremony and plenty of specials at all of the local business create a magical day for all.  Festivities begin at noon. November 30th- December 2nd – The Ulster Ballet Company (UBC), celebrating its 35th year, will present a unique rendition of Charles Dickens’ holiday classic, A Christmas Carol, at the Ulster Performing Arts Center (UPAC). Exquisitely choreographed and directed by Sara Miot, formerly of the New York City Ballet, UBC is proud to announce its 18th season of this spectacular production. Featuring a cast of more than 60 dancers, actors and stage professionals from the Hudson Valley, the company presents this heartwarming and emotional tale of redemption through the use of narration and dance. With spectacular lighting and special effects, colorful costumes, and stunning set design, this classic production captures the rapt attention of audiences of all ages. A Christmas Carol will be performed on Friday,
