New to the Hudson Valley: 27 Santas & an Elf Named Kevin
Staff | December 8, 2014 | CommentThe year-end holidays are upon us. Each is uniquely wonderful. For they offer so many reasons to revisit magical traditions like Sinterklaas, Hannukah, and A Frosty Fest, sing familiar songs, visit historic homes, manors and estates all aglow in splendor, eat, drink and be merry with friends and family in from out of town. But if you’re looking for something new to do this year, to add a new holiday attraction to your bag of goodies, you may perhaps consider, 27 Santas and an Elf Named Kevin, an original musical about “saving the magic of Christmas” by Sesame Street, Madeline and Strawberry Shortcake songwriter Andy Street and Jonathan Kydd.
27 Santas and an Elf Named Kevin introduces us to Santa’s twin brother, Gunta, who is jealous, and wants to be the top man himself. The good news is that some clever elves, are just the ones to outwit the evil Gunta! So, with the audience’s help, the skills of Charles the English reindeer, and 26 other Santas, things just might turn out well, and this will be the best Christmas ever!
Hurry, hurry to get a ticket! They are going fast. The show only lasts December 13th-14th at the Paramount Theater in Peekskill.
