Celebrate Spring and Easter by making a decorated basket filled with a beautiful bed of real grass and dyed eggs at the Athens Cultural Center, 24 Second Street, Athens on Sunday, April 13th from 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm.

In this free workshop, led by Chantal Van-Wierts, participants will fill baskets with soil and plant sprouted grass seeds — to later watch as the seeds grow into a beautiful bed of real grass within a few days.

We will also make a few small creatures such as butterflies or flower fairies to decorate our basket and we will, of course, dye some eggs.
