Columbia County

 Hudson, NY

July 4th, 2013, 5pm – 11pm – Basilica hudson, 110 South Front Street, Hudson, NY. Two films: “Brotherhood of the Traveling Rants” and “Into the Scrum” followed by Q&A with stars and directors. Then, Basilica will provide grills. You provide the picnic. Round out the evening with Athens fireworks as soon as it gets dark. You know they’ll be spectacular. Dutchess County

 Beacon, NY

July 4th, 7-10pm – City of Beacon Independence Day fireworks display – Beacon Memorial Park – Wilkes Street – Beacon. Head to Beacon for their yearly fireworks celebration! Fireworks will start at sundown.

 Hopewell Junction, NY

July 3rd, 7pm – Annual Independence Day celebration at the East Fishkill Recreation Park in Hopewell Junction. Adam and the Newhearts will sing all the “oldies” from the 50′s and 60′s and at 9:15pm there will be a super Fireworks Show!

Germantown, NY

July 4th, 2pm – 10pm. An Old-Fashioned Independence Day. Clermont State Historic Site, 1 Clermont Ave., Germantown, NY. step back in time to experience what our country’s original Fourth of July would have been like. Join a reenactment group — all dressed in long skirts and tricorn hats — for Colonial era games and food. Hop up on stilts and attend a Revolutionary Ball, and grab a good spot on the lawn to watch the Saugerties fireworks over the Hudson River. $10 per car. 518-573-4240 www.friendsofclermont.org

Poughkeepsie, NY

July 4th 6:30-10pm Walkway Over the Hudson’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular, 61 Parker Ave or 87 Haviland Road, Highland or Poughkeepsie. Our annual family-friendly Fireworks Spectacular takes place Thursday, July 4, 2013 as the City of Poughkeepsie celebrates Independence Day. Take in some of the Hudson Valley’s finest views while dazzling lights and colors splash across the sky! Pack a picnic and enjoy the sunset before the fireworks begin.  Windham, NY

July 4th – Celebrate Independence Day with Windham Mountain and the Town of Windham! Enjoy the parade through town starting at 7:00 p.m. followed by BBQ, DJ (7:30p.m. – 10:30p.m.) and activities at the base lodge.  Newburgh, NY

July 4th, 6-9pm – City of Newburgh – Fireworks will be launched from a barge on the Hudson River at approximately 9 p.m. Events will begin at noon at UNICO Park at the waterfront. The schedule is as follows: Noon-6 p.m. Art Show on the River; 6 p.m.- 9 p.m.- Music by Dr. Magkneetoe; 9 p.m. (approximately) Fireworks

Newburgh, NY

July 4th – Mark our nation’s 237th birthday with a special program at Washington’s Headquarters State Historic Site, America’s first publically preserved historic site.  Southeast, NY

July 4th, 9:30pm – Town of Southeast’s 4th of July Fireworks. You can view the fireworks from Independence Way at the Highlands Shopping Center which includes Home Depot, Kohl’s and DeCicco’s. The fireworks will begin at 9:30 PM and the rain date is scheduled for the same time on July 5th. Independence Way, Brewster, NY 10509

 

Rockland County

 Nyack, NY

July 4, 8-9pm: Fireworks – Memorial Park – 53 Piermont Ave. – Nyack-Piermont area. This fireworks display usually has an audience of 3,000 people!

 

Westchester County

 

Dobbs Ferry, NY

July 4th, dusk – Dobbs Ferry Firework Display – Located at the Dobbs Ferry Waterfront Park across from the train station. Car pooling with a resident may be best as it’s a bit difficult if you are a non-resident. Other options would be to park up in the Main St area and walk down the hill.

Katonah, NY

July 4th- Caramoor Center for the Arts Firework Display, Katonah NY – Located at 149 Girdle Ridge road, Katonah – the fee ranges from $30-60 since this is part of the annual Pops, Patriots, and Fireworks event/Jazz Festival. You can visit www.Caramoor.org for more info.

Kensico Dam, NY

July 3rd, 6- 9:30pm – Kensico Dam Fireworks Display – There will be a DJ starting at 6pm followed by the Bensen Scott Big Band, fireworks begin around 9:20, FREE to all! Get there early as the entire area fills up quickly.

Manaroneck, NY

July 4th, 7pm – Mamaroneck Fireman’s Carnival Firework Display – Harbor Island Park off Mamaroneck Ave, Mamaroneck. – The festivities and carnival begin at 7 with fireworks to follow, FREE.

New Rochelle, NY

July 4th, dusk – New Rochelle Grucci Family Fireworks Display – Starts after sunset. Located on the New Rochelle waterfront, 94 Hudson Park Rd.

Ossining, NY

July 3rd, 7:30 – 9pm – Located at the Louis Engel Waterfront Park by the Ossining train station. The festivities begin at 7:30 and fireworks to follow after 9.

Port Chester, NY

July 4th, dusk – Port Chester Firework Display – Located at the Port Chester High School ball fields, behind the school. Fireworks begin after dark.

Rye, NY

July 4 – Rye Playland Fireworks Display – Located at Rye Playland amusement Park off Forest Ave. Come early and enjoy the rides, fireworks begin after dark. Traditionally, the park has firework displays every Weds & Fri 9:15 thereafter, until the end of August.

Scarsdale, NY

July 3rd – Scarsdale Fireworks Display – Located at the Scarsdale Memorial Pool 311 Mamaroneck Ave. Enter after 5, fireworks begin around 9:15.

Tarrytown, NY

July 4th, 9pm – Tarrytown & Sleepy Firework Display – Starts 9pm at 455 Beekman (the old General Motors location)

White Plains, NY

July 4th, 9:20pm – White Plains Fireworks Display – White Plains High school, North St. Show begins around 9:20

 

Ulster County

 

Highland (Town of Lloyd)

July 5, 5-10pm: Old-Fashioned Fun & Fireworks!. Music, Food & Fun, town fields (behind Methodist Church) Main Street.

Kingston, NY

July 4th 5pm – 9pm Celebrate the 4th of July in New York’s State’s First Capitol. Beginning at 5:00 p.m. there will be children’s activities, crafts, great food, and music as performed by The Cagneys and others. Then at 9:00 p.m. enjoy Kingston’s patriotic celebration and firework extravaganza. Experience the charm of the Historic Rondout Waterfront and enjoy festivities, including live music & fireworks.
