Married couples are provided the opportunity to renew their vows at the breathtaking summit of Hunter Mountain

Take your love to new heights this Valentine’s Day at Hunter Mountain!  The well-known resort located in the Great Northern Catskills is arranging for couples to renew their vows at the summit as they enjoy a day on the slopes together.

The offer is extended to any married couple with a lift ticket for the day or a season pass.  Everyone participating will meet on the summit deck at 10:30am.  Reverend Karen Monk, of the Kaaterskill United Methodist Church, will be there to officiate the ceremony. After the “I Do’s”, the group will ski down the mountain together, then take the Kaatskill Flyer six-passenger chairlift back to the summit lodge for a mini reception.

For those who want to extend their experience into an overnight stay, the luxurious Kaatskill Mountain Club is offering rates as low as $100 (plus applicable taxes and fees) for the night of February 13th or 14th, 2013.  Guests who participate in the vow renewal ceremony and spend the night in The Kaatskill Mountain Club will receive a complimentary champagne split and a special discount on a couple’s massage at the Mountain Club Spa.
