Hudson Highlands Nature Museum Hosts Storm King Mountain Hike 3/29/14
Staff | March 25, 2014 | CommentOn Saturday, March 29 from 12 p.m. – 3 p.m. join the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum at Storm King Mountain for a rigorous hike up the mountain. This hike, led by environmental educator Lisa Mechaley, is geared for adults and children 12 and older who would like to learn about the history of Storm King Mountain and want to enjoy the extraordinary views of the Hudson. “This hike will focus on appreciating our natural world and the birth of the environmental movement in the Hudson Valley,” says Mechaley. Meet at the Trailhead off route 218. (Complete directions will be emailed.) Wear sturdy shoes and dress in layers; bring water and a snack. Pre-paid registration is required. Admission: $7 per hiker.
