Events Kick off June 6th & Extend to October 19th

You know, summer’s here when Rhinebeck’s Dutchess County Fairgrounds once again is open, and welcoming fair and festival goers. Here is a quick list of some highlights:

On June 6-8, the Country Living Fair returns with the promise of great shopping finds, antique appraisals, seminars, demonstrations and more.

Rhinebeck’s National Motorcycle Meet and Machinery Show roars in on June 13th and 14th.

A NEW EVENT, the Hudson Valley Brew Festival, featuring Beer, Bourbon and Bacon is held one day only on June 21.

With over a half a million yearly visitors, the Dutchess County Fair runs from August 19th through the 24th. It’s the second largest agricultural fair in the state. Created 169 years ago, it was established for the sole purpose of preserving and promoting local agriculture and related arts.

September 6th and  7th marks the Hudson Valley Wine and Food Festival, followed by the second Rhinebeck Arts Festival on September 26th-28th, featuring beautiful crafts, fine art and sculpture.

A long time favorite, The Rhinebeck Antiques Fair is held October 11th – 12th.

The season ends with the can’t miss, must see NYS Sheep and Wool Festival on  October 18 and 19-one of the largest in the country.
