Diamond Mills Hotel & Tavern, located in Saugerties, New York, will host Family of Woodstock’s second annual Chocolate Lovers Brunch & Fine Auction on Sunday, February 10 from 12-3pm. After seeing great success at the inaugural fundraising soirée last February, it was only natural that the community-wide occasion return to the spacious 7,000 square foot Saugerties event space.

“Over the past year Diamond Mills has been incredibly generous to Family, as they are to many agencies in the county, “ said Family Agency Director, Michael Berg. “The phenomenal menu prepared by Chef Napoli along with countless beautiful gifts donated for the auction are what made the first Chocolate Lovers Brunch wonderfully successful—a tradition that we hope to continue for years to come.”

Family of Woodstock is a network of individuals, paid and volunteer, whose mission is to provide confidential and fully accessible crisis intervention, information, prevention, and support services to address the needs of individuals and families.  The scope of the agency’s vision allows them to deliver resources and address a broad spectrum of human problems. All funds raised through the Chocolate Lovers Brunch will benefit Family’s Adolescent Service Programs which provide temporary housing, mental health support, substance abuse counseling and assistance in life skill development for local youth.

Diamond Mills Executive Chef Giuseppe Napoli and Master Baker Andrew Comey, both graduates of the prestigious Culinary Institute of America, have prepared a decadent menu for the upcoming event, which will include Cannoli Pancakes, Smoked Salmon Frittata and Chocolate Dipped Applewood Bacon among other sweet and savory specialty items. In addition to world class cuisine, guests will enjoy a jazz cocktail hour and live auction featuring round-trip airline tickets, destination vacations, center court seats at the Knicks vs. Celtics game, a private champagne sunset sail on the Hudson and more.

“The sponsors for events such as the Chocolate Lovers Brunch are critical to our efforts to service those most in need in our community,” Berg continued.

Tickets to the Chocolate Lovers Brunch are $50 per person and are available for purchase online at FamilyofWoodstock.com or by calling 845-331-7080 x144.
