CENTERstage Productions Presents Murder on the Nile

CENTERstage Productions will present Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Nile November 30 – Dec. 8 at the CENTER for Performing Arts in Rhinebeck.
On board a steamer, cruising under the scorching Egyptian sun, honeymooners Simon Mostyn and his wealthy socialite wife Kay find themselves being pursued by an old flame of the newly wedded groom. Tragedy strikes and a body is discovered, all fingers point to Simon’s ex fiancée. However, everything is not what it seems and holidaying cleric Canon Pennefather is drawn into a web of intrigue and deceit as he finds himself on the trail of a ruthless murderer.
Agatha Christie’s stage adaptation of the novel Death on the Nile was first performed in 1944 under the title Hidden Horizon; it later opened in the West End and on Broadway as Murder on the Nile in 1946.

Box office hours are 12 pm.-5 pm. Tuesdays through Fridays and 1pm – 5pm on Saturdays.
The CENTER, a non-profit arts and education organization, is located at 661 Route 308, three miles east of the village center in Rhinebeck.
