Cavity Nester Birds & Hike at the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum–April 12th
Staff | April 9, 2014 | CommentOn Saturday, April 12 at 10 a.m., come to the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum’s Outdoor Discovery Center, entrance on Muser Drive, across from 174 Angola Road, Cornwall to learn about Cavity Nesters. Join environmental educator Megan Hoffman to learn how to provide safe nesting sites for some our most common backyard birds.
“Many birds in our area rely on cavity nests to survive,” says Megan. “Each species has different requirements.”
Find out how to attract specific birds to your own backyard. After the program join Megan for a guided hike in search of some cavity nesters at the Outdoor Discovery Center. For adults with or without children and children ages 5 and older. Admission: $7/Adults – $5/Children. Museum Members: $5/Adults – $3/Children.
