Highmount, NY – The Belleayre Conservatory will host its annual Barbecue Dinner Dance and Auction on Sunday, May 25 at 5 p.m. at Belleayre Mountain’s Overlook Lodge. The conservatory is the not-for-profit organization that annually presents the renowned Belleayre Music Festival, now entering its 23rd season. The Memorial Day weekend event is the traditional fund-raising event that jump-starts the Festival’s season.
The evening will begin with a complimentary wine and a cash bar and a time to place bids on the silent auction items. Among the wonderful prizes being offered will be: Catskill Region arts and crafts, sports and recreation packages, accommodations at world-famous four- and five-start hotels and destinations, fine dining, entertainment and wearable items.
A sampling of the featured prizes in the live auction include:
• VIP tickets to the Giants-Cowboys Game Nov. 23
• Hotel stays locally, in New York City, Florida, the Caribbean and Italy
• Jewelry, including a David Yurman bracelet and an exquisite ruby and diamond necklace
• Golf at local courses including Wiltwyck and Woodstock
• A Taittinger champagne collectible along with Imported and domestic wines
• Local crafts, gift certificates
The BBQ dinner includes dancing to the red-hot sounds of one of the area’s top bands, Blues Maneuver.

Belleayre Mountain is located in the heart of New York’s Catskill Mountain region, and is operated by the Olympic Regional Development Authority.
