ANNUAL WINTERFEST – HUDSON VALLEY RAIL TRAIL

WinterFest 2013 will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at the Hudson Valley Rail Trail Depot under the Highland Rotary Pavilion located along side the Hudson Valley Rail Trail at 101 New Paltz Road in Highland.

The event features the “Best of Fest” chili tasting contest along with tractor drawn wagon rides on the trail, roasted chestnuts, toasted marshmallows, a Children’s Tent featuring “kid-friendly” a Chainsaw Expo, activities with special prizes and a Lowe’s of Highland Children’s “Build a Project” tent. Fun for the entire family!

Admission for the event is $2.00 adults with children 6 and under free.

Come enjoy a winter’s day on the Hudson Valley Rail Trail by taking a wagon ride on the trail, sample chili from area restaurants, toast a marshmallow, enjoy roasted chestnuts, visit with friends or enjoy a walk on the trail.

The event takes place from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm – snow, rain or sunshine.
