2014 Path Through NY History Weekends June 7-8 & 14-15

The 2014 Path Through History Weekends which includes events that are heritage and cultural celebrations and special programming covering the unique history of New York State – will be held this year on June 7-8 and 14-15.  With hundreds of museums and heritage sites offering special programming throughout the state at the start of the summer tourism season, this year is sure to be the most successful yet!

In 2013, more than 200 partner organizations hosted 271 events throughout the State.  The events featured during Path Through History Weekends were organized by more than 2,800 volunteers who contributed over 56,000 hours in planning and presenting those events.   This tremendous effort demonstrates the commitment of people and organizations throughout New York State to celebrating our history and telling our story.
