The Hudson Valley Rail Trail presents the 3rd  Annual Highland HudsonFest on Sunday, October 7, 2012 from 10:00am-6:00pm along the eastern spur of the rail trail, leading up to the entrance of the Walkway over the Hudson.  Join us for a day showcasing hamlet and valley merchants, farms, vineyards, restaurants, artists and more that make our community so special.

The Highland HudsonFest invites you to walk, bike or drive to the entrance of the Hudson Valley Rail Trail on Haviland Road.  Come experience this magnificent trail and celebrate the contributors of taste, sound, vision and artistry to the Hudson Valley.  Vendors will line the trail offering you the opportunity to cool off with a fresh-squeezed lemonade, fill your stomachs with amazing food from local restaurants, pick up a gift of local craft for yourself or a friend, and even taste the delicate juices of the Valley’s local grapevines.

After just two years, the Highland HudsonFest has established a reputation on the rail trail as an unforgettable autumn afternoon the Hudson Valley.  More and more pedestrians are remembering to carry cash with them on the Hudson Valley Rail Tail and Walkway so they can experience the local vendors.

Support the Hudson Valley Rail Trail Association, support local Hudson Valley businesses and take a walk along the beautiful trail on Saturday, October 7, 2012.  Bring the whole family, grab a friend or bring your favorite four-legged pooch, for a traditional Hudson Valley Autumn afternoon, as the leaves begin to change.
