SWEETS & TREATS WITH MR. & MRS. SANTA Two Afternoons Only!

  |   November 30, 2012  |  Comment

That much-loved holiday couple, Mr. & Mrs. Santa Claus will be hosting two festive yuletide gatherings at the Boscobel mansion in December.

Children 5-12 years old accompanied by an adult are invited to step back from the seasonal hustle and bustle to spend the afternoon by celebrating together in Boscobel’s unique, early 19th century setting. Seated in the mansion’s gallery, visitors will enjoy one-on-one time with Santa, tasty finger sandwiches, yummy sweets and confections and their choice of cold milk or hot chocolate. While guests relish their elegant fare, Mrs. Claus will entertain with seasonal readings and stories. Keep an eye on the fireplace, though…you-know-who is scheduled to make his appearance and children will get the chance to whisper their wish lists and pose for photos with the Jolly Old Soul. Children will leave with a small token from Santa…and everyone will leave with magical memories for years to come. Don’t forget your camera!

Bocobel’s Sweets & Treats with Mrs. & Mrs. Santa Claus takes place 2:30 to 4pm on Sunday, December 9 and Sunday, December 16. Tickets are $25 per person and include a selection of sweets & treats, stories with Mrs. Claus, a visit from (and photo opportunities) with Santa and a small token gift for each child. Advance ticket purchase required. Purchase tickets by calling 845.265.3638 or online at Boscobel.org.

Boscobel is located on scenic Route 9D in Garrison New York just one mile south of Cold Spring and directly across the river from West Point. From November & December hours are 9:30am to 4pm (last tour at 3pm.)  The House Museum and distinctive Gift Shop at Boscobel are open every day except Tuesdays, Thanksgiving and Christmas. For more information, visit Boscobel.org or call 845.265.3638.

Jim & Barbara LaColla, as Boscobel’s Mr. & Mrs. Santa Claus, generously donate their fee to the Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital in Westchester.
