Dutchess County

Beacon, NY

July 4 : 7 p.m. – City of Beacon Independence Day fireworks display – Beacon Memorial Park – Wilkes Street – Beacon. Head to Beacon for their yearly fireworks celebration! 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Fireworks will start at about 9:15 p.m

Hopewell Junction, NY

Make plans now to attend our annual Independence Day celebration at the East Fishkill Recreation Park in Hopewell Junction on Tues, July 3rd at 7:00pm. Adam and the Newhearts will sing all the “oldies” from the 50′s and 60′s and at 9:15pm there will be a super Fireworks Show!

Germantown, NY

July 4th, 2pm – 10pm. An Old-Fashioned Independence Day. Clermont State Historic Site, 1 Clermont Ave., Germantown, NY. Enjoy 18th century music and entertainment, food and Saugerties fireworks display. $10 per car.

Poughkeepsie, NY

Walkway Over the Hudson is teaming up with the City of Poughkeepsie, the Town of Lloyd and other local businesses to present incredible July 4th Fireworks on the Hudson River. There is no better place to watch fireworks than from the Walkway!

The Walkway will open at 6:30 p.m. so bring your chairs, flashlights, snacks and make an evening of it! Fireworks will start at approximately 9:30 p.m.

Tickets are $10 each (kids 5 & under are FREE and do not require a wristband). Purchase your tickets online now.

Fireworks can also be seen from Waryas Park, Poughkeepsie.

 

Orange County

Bear Mountain, NY

June 29, 5-10pm: Fireworks at Bear Mountain — 55 Hessian Drive, Bear Mountain,  $8 for parking. Visitors are invited to picnic and dance to the sounds of Party Time Productions, while children can enjoy the bounce house on the field and the merry-go-round. Approximate time for the fireworks display is 9:15 p.m. Alcoholic beverages and personal pyrotechnics are not permitted. Call 786-2701 ext. 242.

Cornwall, NY

July 4th, 9:30pm – 11:30 pm – Enjoy a spectacular fireworks display at Town Hall by Rings Pond. Food and other vendors. Fun for the whole family. 845.534.2070. www.cornwallny.com

Central Valley, NY

July 7th, 8:30pm-10:30pm – The Highland Mills Fire Company and the Town of Woodbury Annual Fireworks Show. Parking will be available at Central Valley Elementary, Middle School and High School parking lots. Rain or shine. www.woodburyfirecrackerfestival.com.

Greenwood Lake, NY

Highland Falls, NY

The Village of Highland Falls’ Fourth of July will be a five-day celebration of Independence Day.

Saturday, June 30: 1 P.M. – a birthday party for the Hannibal the Mule statue on North Main St.; 5:30 P.M. – the annual chili cook-off at Roe Park; 5:30 P.M. – a classic tug-of-war match between the local fire departments; and 6 P.M. – the canoe races on Roe Lake.

Sunday, July 1: 9 A.M. to 4 P.M. – Street fair on Main St.; 6 to 8 P.M. – concert by the Banjo Rascals at the Memorial Park Gazebo, which will include the recognition of the grand marshals of the parade.

Monday, July 2: 5:30 P.M.- A colonial tea with an emphasis on local history at the Highland Falls Library, hosted by the library and Fort Montgomery Battle Site Association.

Tuesday, July 3: 6 P.M. – The annual decorated bicycle and wagon contest near Village Hall on Main St.; 6:15 P.M. – bed races (same location); 6:30 P.M. tricycle races (same location); 6:30 to 8 P.M. block party (same location).

Wednesday, July 4: 9 A.M. Firecracker 5K race and kids fun run, starting at Memorial Park; 2 P.M. Independence Day parade, Main St.; 5 to 9:15 P.M. family events at Roe Park; 9:15 P.M. fireworks.

June 30, 7:30pm: Stars & Stripes Celebration — Fancher-Davidge Park, Lake Street, Middletown. Music by the band Replica. Fireworks at dusk.

Monroe, NY

July 3rd, 8:30pm-10:30pm – Enjoy an Independence Day fireworks display at Mill Pond. Free 845.782.8341 for more information.

Newburgh, NY

July 3rd, 6pm-10pm – The Town of Newburgh Community Day will take place at Cronomer Park and will feature games, food, music and fireworks after dusk. Free. 845.564.7815 for more information.

July 4th, Noon – 9pm (rain date for all activities is 7/6):  The City of Newburgh’s July 4th Celebration will be held at UNICO Park. Front Street, Newburgh.  Art show on the river, noon-6 p.m. Music by Dr. Magkneetoe, 6-9 p.m. Fireworks launched from a barge on the Hudson River at approximately 9 p.m. with a live radio simulcast by K104. West Point, NY

Independence Day Celebration at West Point – Trophy Point Amphitheatre – US Military Academy – West Point. July 7 : 8pm. West Point Band Performance 8 p.m. Concert with Fireworks. (Rain date July 8th)

Carmel, NY

July 4, 8pm: Red Mills Historic Park July 4th Celebration Concert. Featuring music by “Music Makers – Company B”. This is the third annual Fourth of July concert, part of Carmel’s “sunset Series”. In addition, there will be re-enactors.

Cold Spring, NY

July 7, Evening: Cold Spring Constitution Island Cocktail Party & Fireworks Extravaganza. Purnam County Bicentennial Celebrations – includes viewing of fireworks across river at West Point.

July 4, 9pm: Fireworks – Memorial Park – 53 Piermont Ave. – Nyack-Piermont area. This fireworks display usually has an audience of 3,000 people!

July 7, 8:00pm: Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, Bethel, NY. Annual fireworks display is legendary; coupled with incredibly affordable tickets, entertainment by one of the oldest and most respected orchestras in the world, the New York Philharmonic

 

Westchester County

Dobbs Ferry, NY
