Third Annual Dinner to Benefit the Columbia Land Conservancy and the Sylvia Center

Katchkie Farm and Columbia Land Conservancy will host their annual Farm to Table dinner on July 16th in the fields of Katchkie Farm, benefiting The Sylvia Center and Columbia Land Conservancy. The Farm to Table dinner will be prepared with freshly-harvested produce from Katchkie Farm, the 60-acre organic farm owned by Great Performances, bolstered by cheese, meats and fish from local purveyors, and paired with New York State wines

The Sylvia Center inspires children to eat well through hands on cooking experiences on the farm and in the kitchen. Working primarily with at-risk youth in New York City and Columbia County, over 1,500 young people every year learn about how vegetables are grown and how to cook them into a healthy meal.

Celebrating its 25th year, Columbia Land Conservancy is a land trust working to protect farmland, wildlife habitat and the rural character of Columbia County, offering community support, educational programs and farmer-landowner matches. Since 1986, CLC has protected 21,135 acres of farms, forests, and rural landscapes, and established 5,452 acres of public lands, including 10 public conservation areas.
