Cupcakes-a-Go-Go in Gardiner This Weekend

It’s never too early for dessert. In fact, we’re already thinking about it, and we blame it entirely on the Gardiner Cupcake Festival. This year, the festival featuring the compact confectionary takes place this Saturday, May 16 in, you guessed it, Gardiner, NY (Wright’s Farm, to be exact). Expect to find a bazillion cupcakes (30,000, really, but close enough) from bakeries all over the Hudson Valley, Catskills, and beyond. Don’t worry, it’s not sugary-sweet deliciousness all day long from 10am-6pm. Other food will be available for when you need to cut all that sweetness with some savory. There’ll be music, an amateur cupcake contest, crafts for sale, and a 5k run so you can get in your calorie deficit nice and early. Who says great things don’t come in small packages? Nobody, because of that saying about how good things come in small packages. Gardiner is located just outside of New Paltz in Ulster County, about 30 minutes from the Poughkeepsie Metro North station.
