To promote the revitalization of Newburgh’s downtown area, Safe Harbors of the Hudson is pleased to announce that they will be
holding the Ann Street Market & Family Fun Day on Saturday, August 6 from 11:00 am-7:00 pm.

The Ann Street Market & Family Fun Day will bring fresh local food, art and music to the Newburgh community. It will provide a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together and rediscover the city’s historic downtown district.

The event will feature pony rides, food, crafts, flea market and antiques vendors as well as produce and food purveyors. Artists will be painting outdoors, original artwork will be available to purchase, as well as an airbrushing station to create your own wearable artwork! Live performances will be held throughout the day from these talented artists: Evan Gottfried from 11am-1pm, William “Funky Prez” Bush from 1pm-3pm, Bill Galanin from 3pm-5pm, and Apollo’s Minion from 5pm-7pm.

The event, which is free and open to the public, will take place in the vacant lot on the southwest corner of Broadway and Liberty Streets (next to the Ritz Theater). In case of rain, the market will be held inside the Ritz Theater Lobby at 107 Broadway.
